Past Narrative Tense Of Perfective Aspect

Verbs in the past narrative tense with the perfective aspect denote completed actions repeated in the past. This tense can be translated into English with the simple past tense, the past continuous tense, or the past perfect continuous tense. It is formed by adding the particle بٌه to past perfective form:

ما بٌه پٌه ښار کی کار وُکْړ اَوُ پٌه کٌلى کی څُو وْرَڂى تېرى کْړٌلې .

"I worked in a city and spent a few days in a village."

لُومْړَی بٌه ما ډُوډۍ وُخْوَړٌلَه اَوُ بیا خُوب وُکْړ .

"First I had dinner, then I went to sleep."
