Negative Pronouns

The negative pronouns "no" - هیڅ   and "nobody" - هیڅُوک ) هیچا in the indirect case) are used with negative verbs:

"Who came? Nobody." - څُوک راغۍ ؟ هیڅُوک .

"He has no new cloth." - دَی نٌوَی کالى هیڅ نَه لَرى .

In combination with the noun "thing" - شَی , this pronoun means "nothing":

د خْوَړٌلُو دٌ پارَه څٌه شَی لَرې ؟ هیڅ شَی نَه لَرٌم.

"What do you have to eat? I have nothing."
