Demonstrative Defining Pronouns

The demonstrative defining pronouns "such (as this)" - داسى , دَغَسى , and "such (as that)" - هَغَسى are formed from the demonstrative pronouns "this" - دا , دَغَه   and "that" - هَغَه

زه غواړٌم هَغَسى سَوُغات واخلٌم چی زما د پېغْلې خْوَښ وى .

"I want to take such a gift that will be nice for my girl."

داسى مَڼَه ما ته راکَه چې خْوَږَه دَه .

"Give me such an apple that is sweet."

Like demonstrative pronouns, the demonstrative defining pronouns also have emphatic forms used in informal speech to reinforce expressions, feelings, and actions. They are formed by adding the particle هَم :

"such" - داسى + هَم → هَمْداسى

"such" - دَغَسى + هَم → هَمْدَغَسى

"such" - هَغَسى + هَم → هَماَغَسى
