Generating Journal Entry Reports
Journal reports detail all the self-reported language learning time you have submitted to {{#tlo}}Transparent Language Online{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}the CL-150{{/rr5}}. To run a journal report, you must enter information about the dates and languages to include. (Note: For instructions on making journal entries, consult Making Journal Entries.)

To generate a journal report:
- Do one of the following to set the date range for this report:
- Type a start date followed by a dash and then an end date in the Dates field. The default format for the dates is mm/dd/yyyy, but you can use dashes, dots, or other symbols between the month, day, and year information if you prefer. To run a report on a single day, type just a single date in the field.
- {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} the Dates field, then select a date range by {{#web}}clicking{{/web}}{{^web}}tapping{{/web}} the dates on the calendars which appear. Select your start date first, then your end date. To run a report on a single day, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} it twice on either calendar. You can use the and buttons to move from month to month if necessary.
- {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} the Dates field, then select one of the commonly used date ranges in the menu beside the calendars. The dates for the selected option will automatically be entered into the field. Possible options include Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, This Year, Last Week, Last Month, Last Year, and All Time.
- Choose which languages should be included in the report:
{{^phone}}- Mark the All Known Languages checkbox if you want to include information on any known language. Alternatively, clear that checkbox and instead select a known language in the Select Known Language menu.
- Mark the All Learning Languages checkbox if you want to include information on any learning language. Alternatively, clear that checkbox and instead select one or more languages in the Select Learning Language(s) menu.{{#web}} (You can hold down the Ctrl key or the Cmd key while you click to select more than one option.){{/web}}

- If you prefer to choose a specific known language for this report, tap Select Known Language, then select a language.
- If you prefer to choose specific learning languages for the report, tap Select Learning Language(s), then select one or more languages.

- When you have set all your options, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} Generate Report.
