Managing Notifications
The Notifications menu displays alerts related to various aspects of {{#tlo}}Transparent Language Online{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}the CL-150{{/rr5}}. You may be shown some, all, or none of the notifications described here, depending on your program usage.
To view and manage notifications:
- {{#web}}Click in the upper right-hand corner of the screen{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap {{/web}} to display your notifications. An indicator will appear beside the icon if new notifications have been added since the last time you checked.
- Read through all the notifications in the list. Some notifications may give you the option to take specific actions:
- Sign Up notifications let you enter your email address, then {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} Sign up to receive different kinds of emails. The text of the notification will describe what you are signing up for.
- Message notifications and Assignment notifications let you {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} to display the message or assignment in question. These notifications generally only appear for users enrolled in classes{{#rr5}}, reporting groups, or Cohorts{{/rr5}}{{#tlo}} or reporting groups{{/tlo}}. In that situation, you may also be shown Enrollment notifications, which let you {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} to display a list of everything you're enrolled in.
- Other types of notifications may allow other actions.
- Notifications will remain in the list until you dismiss them. To dismiss a notification, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} beside it. To dismiss all notifications in the list, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} Clear All Notifications at the top of the menu. (If there is only one notification, this link will read Clear 1 Notification.)
- To change your notification settings, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} Notification Settings. Consult {{#tlo}}Editing Your User Profile{{/tlo}}{{#rr5}}Changing Your Account Settings{{/rr5}} for details.
