The basic definite pronouns in Urdu are: ھر har 'every', سب sab 'all', and سارا saaraa 'whole, entire'. The first two pronouns are indeclinable. The pronoun سارا saaraa is declined like a declinable adjective.
There are also two constructions which function as definite pronouns:
سب کچھ sab kuch 'everything' and سب لوگ sab log 'everybody'
These constructions are used frequently.
