When a word ends with ا or ی ,و intervenes between the vowel ending the word and the vowel beginning the enclitic:
"my foot" پایم
"her hair" مویش
In singular words ending with ه, pronounced "a", the ا which begins the enclitic is written in the initial form:
ام "my," ات "your," اش"his, her, its":
"my house" خانه ام
"his boy" بچه اش
[In a word processor, you may need to put a space between the two letters in order to cause the ا to take the initial form.]
When the noun is qualified by an adjective or adjectives, the suffixed pronouns are added to the final word only, i.e. to the adjective:
"your small son" پسر خوردتان
Enclitics are used much more widely in informal speech than in standard speech.
