Mood

There are four moods in Hindi: Indicative, Conditional, Subjunctive, and Imperative.

The indicative mood denotes a real action that takes place in the present, past, or future. The conditional mood expresses a state or an action which is unreal and cannot be realized. The subjunctive mood in Hindi is used for many different purposes: it can either express polite requests, suggestions, and wishes, or it can be used in expressions of possibility. The imperative mood is used to express orders and requests.
