Nouns and Adjectives

Arabic nouns and adjectives perform in very similar ways. They both can take the definite article, أَلْ, and they vary according to gender (masculine or feminine), case (nominative, genitive, or accusative) and number (singular, dual, or plural). Nouns may also be rational (human) or non-rational (non-human).
