Interrogative Adverbs

Interrogative adverbs are used when you need to ask a question about direction, place or time of action, qualitative features of state. There are only simple interrogative adverbs:

"when" - [kÁla] کٌلَه ,

"why" - [wále] وَلی ,

"where"(if you mean a place of action) - [chíre] چیری ,

"where"(if you mean a direction of action) - [chérta] چېرْتَه ,

"how" - [tsÁ́nga] څٌنْگَه .

Examples:

"Where does he go?" - دَی چېرْتَه ڂى ؟

"How are you?" - څٌنْگَه یاسْت ؟
