Absolutive

Scientific texts may use the present tense form without the می mii - prefix, which denotes constant (absolute) actions:

این شکل فعل را ماضی استمراری گویند.

"They call this form of verb the past continues"

آن کلمه را اینطور نویسند.

"They spell this word in such manner".
