Adjectives are words used to describe or qualify nouns. Urdu adjectives are divided into two groups: declinable and indeclinable. They can have positive, comparative, and superlative degrees of comparison. In the Urdu language, there is also a separate class of adjectives called pronominal adjectives.
An adjective always precedes the noun it qualifies:
اچھا آدمی
acchaa aadmii
'a good man'
لمبی رسی
lambii rassii
'a long rope'
