Prepositions precede the nouns they govern and are not linked to them by the Ezafa:
"from the house" از خانه

Some prepositions are often compounded (especially in informal speech) with others:
"to the house" به خانه تا
The preposition پیش "to" (not به "to") is used to show the direction to persons: (is linked to nouns by the Ezafa):
"to the chief" پیش آمر
"to the sister" پیش خواهر
In informal speech, the preposition کتی kati "with" is widely used (without the Ezafa) and pronounced with the first syllable stressed:
"with them" کتی آنها
"with us" کتی ما
