In addition to the true prepositions, Dari has a number of prepositional phrases consisting of nouns, adverbs, and adjectives preceded or not by prepositions:

Different prepositional phrases that have the same meaning are used interchangeably.
This kind of the prepositional phrase, like true prepositions, is not linked to a noun by the Ezafa:
