Nouns

A noun is the part of speech which names a person, place, thing, idea, or time. Korean nouns are declined, and they are divided into Animate Nouns and Inanimate Nouns. Korean nouns do not change form for gender or number, although those features can be indicated in context. Korean nouns do not take articles.

나무 [namu] ("tree")

여자 [yoja] ("woman")
