Descriptive Verb Participles

When a descriptive verb is used as attribute, the suffix "은" or "ㄴ" is attached to the stem of the verb. "은" is used after a stem that ends in a consonant and "ㄴ" is used after a stem that ends in a vowel.

Verb stem + 은/ㄴ

Examples:

깊은 "deep"

큰 "big"
