Augmentatives

The suffix -issime indicates a high degree.

riche (wealthy), richissime (very wealthy)

On dit que la reine d'Angleterre est richissime.
(It is said that the Queen of England is extremely wealthy.)

Words ending in -on often have an augmentative quality: balle (bullet, small ball); ballon (balloon, large ball); mille (thousand); million (million). This is especially true for words borrowed from Italian.
