Relative Pronouns

Relative pronouns (الأسْماءُ الْمَوصولَةُ) relate a clause to a noun or pronoun that precedes it in the text.

Relative pronouns, such as أَلَّذي  (that) vary according to gender, number, and case.

Examples:

الرَّجُلُ الَّذي حَيّاكَ
(the man who saluted you)

أَكْرَمُ مَنْ عَلَّمّكَ
(Honor the one who taught you.)

Masculine Dual

أَللَّذانِ
