Attached Pronouns

Attached pronouns (الضَّمائِرُ الْمُتَّصِلَةُ) appear in the form of one or more letters attached to the end of a noun or a verb as a suffix.

Object pronouns and possessive pronouns are attached:

ضَرَبْني (he hit me) or كِتابي (my book)

نا in سَمِعْنا (he heard us), or كِتابُنا (our book)

The list below shows the endings for possessive pronouns and object pronouns:

your, you (Masculine Singular) كَ

your, you (Feminine Singular) كِ

his, him هُ

her ها

your, you (Dual) كُما

their, them (Dual) هُما

our, us       نا

your, you (Masculine Plural) كُمْ

your, you (Feminine Plural) كُنَّ

their, them (Masculine Plural) هُمْ

their, them (Feminine Plural) هُنَّ
