Immediate Future (Aller + Infinitive)

The immediate future is used to indicate that an action is going to take place soon. It is formed with the present of aller (to go) + infinitive of the main verb:

Je vais bientôt partir.
(I am going to leave soon.)

Nos amis vont venir la semaine prochaine.
(Our friends will be coming next week.)
