Linking verbs can't be used in imperative and propositive forms.

(이)지요, 이어/여요, (이)네요, (이)데요 어 (아,여)요, (이)지요 (이)군요, (이)로군요

(이)야, (이)지 (이)야, (이)지 (이)군, 군

Example:

저 분이 선생님이십니까? "Is that person a teacher?"

지금 9시예요. "It's 9 o'clock now."
