Searching for Languages
The Choose a Language to Learn screen allows you to search for specific languages.{{#mobile}} Note: In offline mode, only languages for which you have already downloaded lessons will appear.{{/mobile}}
To search for specific languages on the Choose a Language to Learn screen:
- Type all or part of the language name you want to find in the Search field. Searches are not case-sensitive. If you prefer, you can search for specific dialects or other options, such as transliterated languages.
- As you type, a list of suggested languages will appear under the menu. If you find the language you want, select it. If not, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}}
{{#web}} or press the Enter key{{/web}} to run the search. The search results will be listed on the screen.
- Do any of the following:
- {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} the name of a language in the results to select that language. Consult Using the Choose a Language to Learn Screen.
- {{#web}}Click{{/web}}{{^web}}Tap{{/web}} Return to the list of languages at the bottom of the screen to clear the search results and display all the available languages again.{{^phone}} You can also {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}}
in the Search field or {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} the word LANGUAGES in the heading bar to clear the results.{{/phone}}
- Type a new language name in the Search field to run another search. The results of the new search will replace the results of the old one.
