Choosing Activities

Practice activities allow you to work on specific skills with the content you choose.

To choose an activity:

  1. At the top of the screen, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} the icon for the skill you want to practice:

    2. Listening - Listening
    Reading - Reading
    Speaking - Speaking
    Writing - Writing
    Watching - Watching (Sign languages only)

  2. If you want to use the Quiz Mode of an activity, set the Quiz Mode switch to On. When this mode is on, you won't see feedback during the activity, but you'll get a score and see the answers at the end. To use the regular version of the activity, leave the switch set to Off.
  3. In the main part of the screen, {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} the Practice button for the activity you want to use. (You can {{#web}}click{{/web}}{{^web}}tap{{/web}} on the image of any activity if you want to see a larger image of it before you choose it.)
  4. On the next screen that appears, choose the content you want to use with the activity. Consult Choose Content for Activities for details.
